Simple Daily Habit Tracker
A 30-day interactive tracker for building one habit at a time — name it, check off each day, and watch the count build.
Saved in this browser only — clearing your browser data or switching devices will reset it.
Lasting behavior change rarely comes down to willpower — it comes down to consistency and a clear signal of progress. This tracker is built around one core idea from the behavioral science of habit formation: pick one habit, keep it small enough that missing a day feels like an exception rather than the norm, and make progress visible.
How to use it
- Name one specific habit in the box above — as specific as possible. “Meditate for 5 minutes” works better than “be more mindful.”
- Check off each day you complete it, even if it was a smaller version than planned. A 2-minute version of the habit still counts.
- Don’t reset on a missed day. One missed day is normal and doesn’t erase the ones before it — just pick back up. The goal is the overall pattern, not an unbroken streak.
Your progress is saved automatically in this browser, so you can come back and pick up where you left off — it’s not tied to an account, just this specific browser and device.
Why small and specific works better
A habit that requires willpower every single day eventually loses to a day when willpower is low — and everyone has those days. A habit small enough to do even on a bad day survives those days, and consistency (not intensity) is what actually builds a habit into something automatic. If you find yourself skipping often, that’s usually a sign to make the habit smaller, not a sign you need more discipline.
